Considering the lifespan of a gaming system is about 6-10 years, and each new game system is considered the next "generation" of said system, if Pacman is 28 years old, he's approximately 3-5 generations old. In human aging terms, a generation is ~20 years, which would have PacMan's age be 60-100 human years old. Hence the white hair.

yes, i'd say fanstastic texturing done on the pacman in the 2nd panel but i wouldn't go so far as to feel faint or so emotionally moved that i couldn't breathe...
The detail on Pac-man in the second panel is breathtaking. I also like how his path in the third panel is all in the down direction, until he has to finally scale upward to get more pills.
This comic reminds me of one of my favorite quotes:
"Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if PacMan affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music."
