I'd prefer if people just let the writer write it the way they want to, and not give 'suggestions'. Write your own comic if you know how to do it better.
What's the point of coming here and saying you don't like the comic as much as _______? Also, the point is not that Purple Ninja fights people demons or zombie robot bears, rocket launchers or no. That wouldn't be witty at all. Purple Ninja fights abstract things that in the English mindset from our language other people are said to 'fight' everyday. You say someone is fighting cancer, fighting poverty, fighting crack addiction -- in all of these cases there is no physical fight. When Purple Ninja fights against any of these there is a physical fight and he loses in a way clear to those who know the effects of what he's fighting. The point is not simply that fate is set against him to lose every fight.
Hm, these comics are all pretty good, I however still like the comics of PBF(Perry Bible Fellowship) a bit more though, but he's semi-retiring so I guess I'll keep commin back here to enjoy these.Nice Comic, should probly have one where he fights an actual bad guy, give the bad guy a rocket launcher or somthing to make it obviously and rediculusly unfair, should be good.
I remember when i was younger and used to play runescape *shudder* my acount was named purpleninja7, kinda freaky when i started reading this and found purple ninja.
I don't much care for this one for some reason. I think it's because the punchline is really in the first frame and the third frame isn't much to look at (no pun intended). The artwork is incredible though.
I particularly like the Purple Ninja's mask which seems to be a mix of Shredder's from TMNT (yes I agree Charlie) and the helmet computer eye-piece from Star Wars (when they were trying to destroy the death star).
Ah, Purple Ninja, I feared that our favorite fighting ninja would never reappear again, but now he's back, and improved! ...well at least his right side is.
The coolest thing about Macular Degeneration is that the brain often creates hallucinations when trying to fill in the gap in vision (http://forteantimes.com/features/articles/152/e...) I wonder what the purple ninja would hallucinate.
You know I can't help but feel that the purple ninja is destined to win. After all, after the macular degeneration has run its course and the world goes dark he still has a few hit points left over. Round 2?
lol...After following your work for a while its obvious that this is a "filler" of sorts...but if this is the quality of your "fillers"...then you guys are damn good...Keep it up ;-)
An oddly relevant comic. I discovered I recently suffer from a far less evere but equally technical-sounding form of ocular dysfunction known as dissociated vertical deviation which is a result of a latent nystagmus.
