“The dancing snakes in the background give me the heeby jeebies....” - Higgy

  1. Aaron:

From the title, I assumed this would be a Fight Club parody with birds. What I got was so, so much better.

    April 13th, 2008 at 10:05 pm

  2. Jeremy Tolbert:

That got a genuine laugh-out-loud from me. Hilarious!

    April 13th, 2008 at 10:08 pm

  3. Rick D.:

I really never thought I’d live to see the day when pasties and cobras used together in any sort of conjunction…

    April 13th, 2008 at 11:48 pm

  4. Bhavin:

If i were ever to rub one out to a realistic picture of a snake, this would be it.

    April 13th, 2008 at 11:50 pm

  5. The Lazy Canadian:

zomg, I laughed out loud.. but it was more of a knowing chuckle.

  6. Trebor Almasy:

    Awesome guy… just… awesome.

    April 14th, 2008 at 12:55 am

  7. Vaughn:

Pure genius! Now to find a way to deliver this to my web-challenged brother with his collection of snakes.

  8. girlysprite:

I love the details in your pictures and how subtle some things can be. I love the tail end of the rattle snake at the last frame :)

    April 14th, 2008 at 1:40 am

  9. Ginby:

Is the tail supposed to represent his yoo-hoo, cause in that case how does he hold his shot lol

    April 14th, 2008 at 5:01 am

  10. Dan:

Doubt it Ginby, I think it’s just there to represent rattling titillation.

    April 14th, 2008 at 7:52 am

  11. wiston:

Oh man … this is great !

    April 14th, 2008 at 8:05 am

  12. Dyngus:

So, that means that he’s “clapping” by rattling, Dan? That makes sense, but I’ll admit that the “rattle-as-erection” was the first thing that came to mind.

  13. romeuruiva:

Perfect… And the snakes dancing behind the snake-dad… Hilarious

    April 14th, 2008 at 11:41 am

  14. Gord:

    Nice!

This kicks the poop out of the snake-skin cartoon I was drawing.

    April 14th, 2008 at 6:00 pm

  15. Rowan:

    That is so cute!

    April 14th, 2008 at 7:49 pm

  18. Jaime:

wow…it’s awkward and awesome all at the same time. :)

    April 14th, 2008 at 9:41 pm

  19. Chan:

    What’s up with the tassels?

It looks like the snake is drinking Ginger Ale. That’s my favorite drink at strip clubs.

    April 15th, 2008 at 9:18 am

  20. Tomford:

    LOL I loved it!

    April 15th, 2008 at 11:44 am

  21. smellings:

That is a surprisingly attractive looking snake.

    April 15th, 2008 at 10:44 pm

  22. sheoftheunoriginalname:

I can’t help but wonder where the cobra-clamp tassels went…

    April 16th, 2008 at 5:16 am

  23. Zarim:

I laughed madly at the very first panel. I just want to put it up a random places out of context around my town.

    April 16th, 2008 at 4:44 pm

  24. Amyjenc1:

My side hurt and need a tissue…Oh wow…I haven’t laughed that painfully for a while…I agree with Zarim…I live in Columbus, Ohio…on the CCAD campus..this would be hilarious!

    April 16th, 2008 at 6:45 pm

  25. Off:

I fully approve of this idea Zarim.

    April 16th, 2008 at 7:58 pm

  26. Nick:

I like that your comics have become more motivated by the art and less by text. Subtlety goes a long way.

    April 16th, 2008 at 9:33 pm

  27. Alexandra Erin:

Keep up the good work. This comic’s come along at a great time, now that Perry Bible Fellowship is no longer updated.

    April 17th, 2008 at 5:12 am

  28. Amy:

The look on the snakes face in the first panel is oh-so-vulnerable.

The last panel got a definite laugh out loud reaction… along with my jaw dropping.

    April 17th, 2008 at 3:06 pm

  29. Emeline:

This one is pretty much hilarious.

    April 20th, 2008 at 12:14 pm

  30. LordBenzo:

Witty witty! Love the details, like the shadows of snakes in the distance of the second panel, good ideas! The pasties make it all so very bizzare, sort of unnerving too haha

  31. Moment:

Snakes shed in one piece, like taking off a sock. If you’d wanted to draw pieces, you should have made it lizards instead of snakes.

    April 21st, 2008 at 10:13 am

  32. WTF:

Just posting something so I don’t have to look at moment’s dumbass comment.

    April 21st, 2008 at 10:22 am

  33. Banker:

No, it’s true. This comic is totally unrealistic. Everyone knows stripper snakes shed in 1 piece.

    April 21st, 2008 at 11:22 am

  34. Ssha:

Well, if you want to be pedantic about it, a stripper snake would likely be unhealthy. Thus, she would likely end up shedding in pieces, rather than in the proper whole skin. Unhealthy snakes/snakes with skin issues/hydration issues often shed badly, with pieces left behind.

  35. Argh:

    PIRATES!!!!OMGOMGOMG

    April 22nd, 2008 at 1:35 pm

  36. baz:

sigh, it’s a cartoon, and a genius one! a stripper doesn’t take all clothes off at once anyway. keep up the good work!

  37. Higgy:

The dancing snakes in the background give me the heeby jeebies.
