This one reminds me of a song by Jonathan Coulton.

Which is about the hairy lobsters which darwinoid pointed out.

Maybe if the guy being thrown didn’t bogart 2 of the spears, the guy in the back could help. Serves him right.

The guy being thrown only has one spear. It’s just broken in half.

The real question is, would the giant woolly lobster’s exoskeleton be proportionally thick to regular lobsters? If it were, it would be like attacking a tank with spears, though I suppose they could go for the mouth. Poor guy didn’t have a chance…

All I can say is that if I were the patron, I’d be damn upset at that serving of bisque, too.

I just can’t tell if it’s the lobster antenna or a hair. Regardless, there’s clearly *not* enough meat in that bisque, and I think I’d demand a new bowl, even if it required the death of an employee to acquire the meat.

I think it’s supposed to be human hair and teeth in the soup…

No… lobster meat is white so I don’t think those are teeth. Pretty sure it’s lobster hair.

Actually, the “Furry Old Lobster” in Jonathan Coulton’s song is not the furry lobster darwinoid linked to. It actually is a reference to a story in the book “My Areas of Expertise”. The story in the book explains how the word lobster used to refer to a type of Otter that lived in Maine, which was made extinct by the introduction of what we now know as the lobster.

    (The story is entirely fictional)
