The breathing mask is probably a homage to the king of courting, Frank Booth(Dennis Hopper), fom "Blue Velvet". Purple Ninja wants a bit of pink velvet action.
It's all part of Purple Ninjas cunning plan to win over Pink Ninja, he saw Bisons ship in the lot. He knew he was there. Guile is just charging a sonic-boom around the corner.
Maybe there will be a surprise part 2, purple ninja still has some life left!! Regulate Ninja - just remember to keep jumping back into the corner - Bison is stupid for it.
