Also, look at the fellow next to the sheep: Lederhösen (or what do you call these pants?) -- you guys definitely got Germans confused with Dutchmen. Not the landscape though, that's Holland alright.
The girl is dressed like Germans and Swiss think that a milkmaid in Holland is dressed. The boy is a German countryboy. Nobody! is wearing a "lederhosen" in Holland. It is considered to be even worser than wearing a Burka. And you will definitely see no grass (but sandbeaches) and no windmill on the seaside. But it is a cartoon and everything is allowed in it!!!
I don't think he is...Some people don't like it if you refer to the Netherlands as Holland, I am not one of them, but Vicarious might be. (technically, the closest thing to Holland would be the two provinces of north, and south Holland in the Netherlands)

But the lederhosen and accents are really wrong. Even though most of us have accents (horrible ones), it wouldn't sound like that. Actually, you wouldn't find better english in the whole of europe, except maybe in Great Britain.
You know, we have many, many windmills in The Netherlands. Not like the one you see in the cartoon, but modern ones. Slim, tall, silent.. But it's so incredibly stupid.. Do you have ANY IDEA how much electricity it takes to let one windmill turn? How about the other 10,000's of them!! With all this Global Warming stuff going on, we actually consume HUGE amounts of power to let those new windmills turn and make wind for us. Now you know why it's always windy in The Netherlands. Why not tear all those new, modern windmills down and save some power! We're so stupid!! ;-)

I think you hit a nerve, guys... don't even remotely-- even accidentally-- associate the Dutch with the Germans. NOT FANS of each other. That being said, great cartoon!!

Heh, I'm pretty sure there are Dutchmen who wear lederhosen-like pants. A quick google image search reveals hard forensic evidence toward this end...
Regardless, Eric and I really don't know a damn thing about Holland other than the fact that they have lots and lots of windmills. I suppose we could have done some research, but in cases such as this it seems far more amusing to go with the horribly distorted cultural image in our heads. We probably went over the top with the completely absurd accents, though... Please forgive us, Holland!
You can find pictures of americans wearing lederhosen too, doesnt mean that lederhosen are part of American culture, because lederhosen sure arent part of dutch culture. (personally, I dont care what you write about my country, its a comic, good for some laughs and to attribute anything more to it would be silly, but you brought it up :D )
