Yup, Requiem for a Dream ref. There's a repeating sequence in the movie of one of the characters shooting up - a montage - and the last sequence is a close-up of his eye dilating rapidly.
Or maybe it happens in real life too? Maybe its not an homage to Requiem but just a kangaroo that got really high, and now all you douchebags are circlejerking each others flawless movie knowledge. Internet fags bother me.
